Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Codonomy (“Codonomy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and safeguards information when you visit codonomy.com (the “Site”) or contact us. We keep the data we collect to a minimum and never sell it.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, an optional phone number, a subject, and your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry.

Information collected automatically

When a visit arrives from an AI assistant (for example ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, or Claude), we log a single anonymous event recording the referring source, the landing page path, and the referrer’s hostname. This contains no personal identifiers, and we honour your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting. We also keep aggregate, non-identifying view counts for blog articles.

How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries you send through the contact form.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how visitors discover our content so we can improve it.
  • To operate, maintain, and secure the Site and our administrative tools.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to third parties.

Cookies

The public Site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We use a single essential cookie only within our private administrative area to keep signed-in administrators authenticated; it is not set for ordinary visitors. Your browser’s session storage may be used briefly to avoid logging a duplicate analytics event during a single visit.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the Site:

  • Resend — delivers the email generated when you submit the contact form.
  • Our database and hosting providers — store Site content, contact messages, and the anonymous analytics events described above.

These providers process data only on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Data retention

We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for our legitimate business records, and anonymous analytics events for as long as they remain useful for improving the Site. You can ask us to delete information relating to you at any time (see below).

Data security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to request a copy of the information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@codonomy.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for a general, business audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International visitors

Codonomy is based in the United States. If you access the Site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made prominent on the Site.
